PROJECTIONS

Projections is a forum for presenting different video and photo works by national, and regional artists. Each month from March – May videos will be presented in the storefront windows of 4 retail spaces along Western Ave in North Allston-Brighton. Conceptually Projections will perform a modern form of street art, one that introduces light, movement and color after dusk.

The installation is an early piece in a long-term Harvard University-funded initiative to explore how public art can activate Western Avenue. In addition to Harvard-owned spaces, Projections videos will be installed in retail storefronts at the Continuum property and Charlesview Community apartment buildings on Western Ave.
