NEW RELEASES EVERY FRIDAY IN MARCH & APRIL

Music moves people to connect in a way that no other medium can.

Introducing the Zone 3 Mixtape Project, a compilation of our favorite tracks curated by friends and community partners in the neighborhood. Each Friday in March and April we will be releasing a new playlist on our Zone 3 spotify channel. From Allston/Brighton performers and artists who have serenaded us at Aeronaut Allston, to Boston Music Award-winning singer songwriters, to new and notable names in the music industry, we hope these mixtapes play a role in getting you through the day and into the zone.

Aeronaut Brewing is a Somerville-brewed craft beer company and team of brewers / scientists who collaborate with New England farmers and food makers to drive the invention of craft beers and spur a renaissance of local victuals and industrial revitalization.

Zone 3 is home of the Aeronaut Allston beer garden series that kicked off in 2016, hosted by Aeronaut Brewing Co. As the first pop-up beer garden in all of Boston, Aeronaut Allston quickly became a popular destination on summer evenings to enjoy cold beer, bites from local food trucks, and to listen to great live local music. Since its launch, Aeronaut Allston has showcased over 750 musicians on its stage.

Sound of Boston is an online music publication with a hyper-local focus: they cover the culture, events, and artists comprising Boston’s vibrant music scene. While the world waits for a “Boston Sound,” they are here to show you that it already exists—you just have to know where to look.

Boston’s talent lurks in the basements of Allston, bounces with the bumping bass of House of Blues, and buzzes under the watchful eye of the Elvis bust at Great Scott. It’s out serenading the bronze-masked statues of Davis Square and crooning to clammy crowds in the depths of Park Street station. It’s leaking lullabies from the house next door; it’s stamping and shouting on your neighbor’s front porch. All of their staff, including the founders, are volunteers who are passionate about supporting local artists and helping them reach a wider audience.
