Hipstory, a collective of artists & media production professionals, is dedicated to centering marginalized identities in media through music and film.

HipStory’s mission statement is deeply rooted in offering a platform for marginalized voices and stories to be heard and told. In response to the impacts of COVID-19 on our community they recognize that people have a lack of resources or knowledge in order to do these things on their own. With Hipstory’s background in education they believe offering information that will empower communities to continue to have their voices amplified is important in this time.
