ARTIST Q&A

Born: Vadodara, Gujarat, India

Currently lives: Cambridge, Massachusetts

Title of artwork: “Good Things Take Time”

What’s it about? Inspired by a friend in 2020, I dug into my box of memories, found some souvenirs, scrap paper and glue to create my first art journal spread. Since then, art journaling became a cherished nighttime routine to unwind. “Good Things Take Time” emerged during my transition from a full-time graduate student to a full-time adult! Over the course of several years, my life underwent profound changes, often not aligning with moments of significant decision-making. Trusting in the universe, I navigated the consequences of my choices, always seeking glimmers of hope. Gradually, I came to the realization that the seeds I sow today will bear fruit in their own time, highlighting the beauty of patience and trust in the process.
