DIVYA BHATIA

I am a self-taught artist, born and bread in Mumbai, India. It all started with my love for drawing human faces around 8 years back which transcended into hobby and then into a small business. My love for watercolors is fairly new, I started knowing the nuances of watercolor only early last year and the love only grew.

I am planning a watercolor series of different cafes in Boston, Cambridge and areas around. Urban sketching brings me lot of joy and I love catching up with fellow urban sketchers on varied sketch walks. I am only learning everyday and I hope I never stop.

What’s it about? It is the First piece from my ‘cafes in Boston’ watercolor series. I loved the pastel color theme and the retro looking coffee machine caught my eye and made me wonder how it is the centre character and art piece of this coffee shop.
