Creative Unblocking for Creative Joy spanned three sessions, with an even mix of art making and personal and group reflection (meditation, journaling, group discussion) each session.

No ‘art skills’ required, this workshop series is great for all levels of art experience. Each session featured a different aspect of coming to a place of ease and joy in your creative journey, addressing the fear of making bad art, returning to a feeling of play, and exploring distributing the creative load across a community.

Painter Kal Anderson plays along the continuum of impressionism to abstract, showcasing his mastery of color and texture across techniques and mediums to explore painting as a grounding and connective practice. He delights in facilitating creative exploration and unblocking with others using play, grounding technique to create feelings of safety and joy to tap into creative ease. Kal’s work is collected and shown internationally. His studio is in in Jamaica Plain Boston and he is a member of the Jamaica Plain Artists Association.
