DANNY REIS

Danny Reis is a tattooer who has been working in the Boston area for over five years. His style is focused in American Traditional, but is up for anything. Panthers, dragons, and lady heads are common imagery in his work. He wishes to one day tattoo in Japan and attend the Tattoo Summer Camp at Mooncusser Tattoo. He lives in North Attleboro with his family and likes to skateboard and drink beer on the weekends.

Born: Stoughton, MA

What’s it about? I painted this during the Great Quarantine of 2020. I was doing anything creative I could and in between commissions I tried to paint smaller scale paintings that I just wanted to do. I later gave it to my friend Ken Johnson as a thank you for tuning up my tattoo machines.

Where have you been finding inspiration as an artist lately? Christian imagery and Indya Moore

One thing you learned about your self or creative practice during COVID-19? It’s hard to do virtual consultations with clients when you have a seven year old son in the room.
