JOE BANDA
Joe is an artist living in Beverly Massachusetts. He studied fine art and illustration at Delaware College of Art and Design, and Montserrat College of Art. Chris tries to draw, paint, doodle, or do something creative everyday because, whenever he’s not working on something he feels like he’s wasting his time. Chris’ main inspirations come from folk art, skateboarding, independent music, tattooing, stand-up comedy, his wife Amy, and cat Rambo.

What’s it about? This was a stream of conscious drawing turned into a finished piece.
Where else can we find your work? Currently you can find my work in Mingo Gallery in Beverly MA, and Nahcotta Gallery in Portsmouth NH.
Where do you find your inspiration? Anxiety and Stress are my two main motivators. Some of my favorite artists are Ed Templeton, Chris Marchetto, Jeremy Miranda, George Grosz, Eben Kling, Kristen Liu Wong, and Margaret Kilgallen.
If you could invite one person to dinner (dead or alive) who would it be? Preston Maigetter. (RIP P-Stone!)
Favorite Season? Season 4 of the office was the perfect season.
What was the last TV show you binge-watched? The office has been on repeat in my apartment for the last 5 years.
Favorite place to eat in Allston/Boston? Garlic N’ Lemons after I skate the Orchard Bowl
