CHRISSA MARKOS

Chrissa is a photographer and mixed media collage artist living North of Boston. Her art combines photography, illustrations and text to create multidimensional designs. Each piece begins with a photo that has left an impression with which she feels a connection and then using an intricate layering process she creates visual stories. There are numerous recurring elements in her work including the use of blue tones, numbers and lines. Chrissa is also the founder and creative director of Taiyety, a cashmere scarf brand, where she combines fashion with her artwork in limited edition pieces. Chrissa is always exploring new mediums and ways to fuse them with her collage art.
