What have you learned about your creative practice in recent years? I’ve learned that downtime is just as important to the creative practice as being productive. Since gently embracing this, I can feel my relationship to creativity healing.

What is a piece of advice you would give to your past self as a young artist? You don’t have to be perfect all of the time. You have a great work ethic and are never going to be afraid to put in the time and effort, so, in the meantime, don’t be afraid to experiment and have FUN! Also, please keep a better sketchbook practice.

What is your dream project to work on? I have so many! I would love to illustrate a magazine cover, a children’s book, and work on more murals.
