MARY LEWEY
Mary lives in Cambridge, MA, and has a studio at Washington Street Art Center in Somerville, MA. She is self-taught and completed her first collage project in 2013 as part of the Fun-A-Day Project. Since then, her collages have been exhibited at galleries and art spaces in Greater Boston. She is available for commissions and has worked with several musicians, including Babydriver, Bent Shapes, and Parks.

Title of artwork: The Chrome Bouquet No. 5
What’s it about? With the Chrome Bouquet series, I wanted to work in a limited color palette, hence a collection in black and white. Layered between the images are playful paint blobs that add dimension and texture.
