ARTIST Q&A

Born: New Haven, CT
Currently lives: Lowell, MA

Title of artwork: momento mori (peace on mars)

What’s it about? A little about life, mostly about death and some goofs thrown in for fun. No matter what trip you’re on, it’s always the same destination so enjoy the ride.

Where else can we find your work? I post most of my new art work, as well as other odds and ends, on Instagram. More of my design work can be found on my website.

What is your favorite art piece in the area? My favorite form of public art is actually just the remnants of hand-painted branding and lettering on the sides of old buildings. That was a huge plus side of moving to Lowell and living in this area. The old mill buildings along the Merrimack River are absolutely beautiful. I’m not sure if it’s necessarily “public art” but it is to me.

What would your last meal be? My mom’s homemade eggplant parmigiana.

Who would play you in a movie? Kate McKinnon, if I’m lucky.

Go-to karaoke song? Brandy by Looking Glass.

Best sweet treat in Allston? Gracie’s Ice Cream.

Favorite summer activity? Complaining about the heat.
