Nick is fascinated by the intersection of design, technology and people. He is a multi-disciplinary artist interested in working with typography and the deconstruction and transformation of spaces. With a background in installation and public art, he is interested in how art and design can impact the way people view themselves, each other, and their environment and interactions at play between them.

Title of artwork: Glitched Perceptions

What’s it about? I’ve been experimenting with glitch art and digital manipulation and perception of spaces. These pieces are from a series corrupting and transforming places and extracting the results.

Where else can we find your work? Studio 213 at 450 Harrison Ave. in SoWA

Where have you been finding inspiration as an artist lately? Enjoying as much as possible to enjoy being outdoors and taking inspiration from surroundings

Favorite holiday tradition? La Vigilla / Festa dei sette pesci on Christmas Eve


One new thing or practice that has been bringing you joy during COVID-19?
Tarot

Where is your favorite public art piece in the area? I think seeing the changes in dynamics over the years around Allston and Brighton between sanctioned and unsanctioned art in the public space has been really interesting to see and the work that comes out of it.


What would your last meal be?
Baklava

Go-to karaoke song? Getting another drink and not going on stage…
